SDNPV Gurukul - A school with a difference!
SDNPV Gurukul is located in Chikhali (25 km from Pune). It is an activity centre of Dnyan Prabodhini, Nigdi.
Total 300+ students from Jr KG to 10th Std (only 30 students per class) are engaged in this school.
Spread in 3 Acres of land, the school has a swimming pool, spacious playground, well equipped yoga hall, a vegetable farm, library, a nursery accommodating 500 saplings and well furnished labs for science, computer, culinary arts, mechanical and electrical engineering.
The scope of activities conducted is so vast that even extended working hours (10 hours a day) are insufficient!
Panchakosh Vikasan
'Man making and nation building education' as envisioned by Swami Vivekananda is the central theme achieved through 'Panchakosh Vikasan':
Health
Daily Surya namaskar, exercise, active sports, diet focus, and mental well-being activities, including annual health checkups.

Students develop practical and creative skills via 10 diverse hobby classes including art, craft, and technology.

Students are exposed to real-world challenges via field visits and social camps across India to build empathy and awareness.

Encouraging scientific thinking, self-study, and rational problem-solving through IBT, 3D printing, and practical experiments.

Participation in cleanliness drives and elderly care helps students learn service, respect, and gratitude for the community.
The school is expanding by establishing a full-fledged music, arts, and sports centre for both students and the public.
